– TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

1.1 This competition is promoted by The Boiler Man NI (\"the Promoter\").

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to residents aged 18 years or over.

2.2 Entrants must be homeowners or have the homeowner's permission to enter the competition and receive the installation.

2.3 The installation address must be located within approximately 25 miles (40km) of Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.

2.4 The property must currently have either:

A domestic mains gas boiler; or
A domestic oil-fired boiler.

2.5 Commercial properties are not eligible.

2.6 Employees, subcontractors, agents and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

3.1 The competition opens on the date the giveaway post is published.

3.2 The competition closes at 11:59pm on 29/09/2026.

3.3 Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.

3.4 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend or cancel the competition where necessary.

4. How to Enter

4.1 To enter, participants must:

5. Entry Restrictions

5.1 One entry per person.

5.2 Tagged friends must be genuine individuals.

5.3 Entrants must remain followers of the Promoter's social media page at the time the winner is selected.

5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and entrant eligibility.

5.5 Fake accounts, duplicate accounts, automated entries or any attempt to manipulate the competition may result in immediate disqualification.

6. Prize

6.1 One winner will receive a standard domestic boiler replacement installation.

6.2 If the winning property currently has an oil-fired boiler, the replacement boiler supplied under this promotion will be a Grant Euroflame HE External boiler or an equivalent model at the Promoter's discretion if the specified model becomes unavailable.

6.3 If the winning property currently has a gas boiler, the replacement boiler supplied under this promotion will be an Ideal Esprit Eco2 boiler with horizontal flue or an equivalent model at the Promoter's discretion if the specified model becomes unavailable.

6.4 The prize includes:

Supply of the replacement boiler.
Standard like-for-like boiler replacement.
Removal and disposal of the existing boiler.
Standard installation labour.

6.5 The maximum value of the prize is £3,000 including VAT.

6.6 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute either boiler model with an equivalent or superior model where supply issues, manufacturer changes, technical requirements or installation circumstances make this necessary.

6.7 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or alternative services.

7. Exclusions

The prize does not include:

Oil-to-gas conversions.
Gas-to-oil conversions.
LPG systems.
Commercial heating systems.
New gas connections.
New oil tank installations.
Oil tank replacement.
Boiler relocations.
Significant pipework alterations.
Gas meter upgrades.
Electrical upgrades.
Replacement radiators.
Smart controls unless supplied at the Promoter's discretion.
System flushing or power flushing.
Scaffolding.
Building works.
Asbestos removal.
Plastering, decorating or making good.
Flue route alterations requiring building works.
Any works outside the scope of a standard like-for-like boiler replacement.

8. Property Survey

8.1 The winning property will be subject to a site survey by the Promoter before installation.

8.2 The Promoter reserves the right to determine whether the installation falls within the scope of a standard domestic boiler replacement.

8.3 If additional works are required beyond the value of the prize, the winner may choose to pay the additional cost.

8.4 If the winner declines any required additional works, the prize may be forfeited and an alternative winner selected.

8.5 If the property is deemed unsuitable, unsafe, inaccessible, outside the service area or otherwise ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

9. Winner Selection

9.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

9.2 The draw will take place within 14 days of the competition closing.

9.3 The winner will be contacted via Facebook or Instagram direct message.

9.4 If the winner does not respond within 14 days, fails to meet the eligibility requirements or refuses the site survey, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

9.5 The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and proof of address before the prize is awarded.

10. Installation

10.1 Installation must be completed within six months of the winner being notified.

10.2 Installation dates will be agreed between the winner and the Promoter.

10.3 The Promoter shall not be liable for delays caused by supplier issues, weather conditions, access restrictions or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11. Publicity

11.1 By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition.

11.2 The winner agrees that photographs, videos, testimonials and installation footage may be taken and used by the Promoter for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes across social media, websites and other advertising channels without additional compensation.

12. Liability

12.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, incomplete, delayed or misdirected entries.

12.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for technical failures affecting entry into the competition.

12.3 The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

13. Data Protection

13.1 Any personal data supplied will be used solely for administering the competition and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

13.2 Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.

14. Facebook & Instagram Disclaimer

14.1 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

14.2 By entering, participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.

15.2 Any disputes arising from this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
